Muon-Based Inspection Simulator

Here's a simple simulator for full-scale, muon-based, non-intrusive inspection system. To get started select a Configuration from the drop-down. The simulation will run and estimate the number of Valid Tracks that can be expected of the configuration for a reasonable slice of sky. To experiment further, use the controls below to change the configuration. Scale notes: (1px = 4cm) Viewport is 60m (W) x 20m (H). Muon rate: 150 muons/m²/s - 9000 muons/viewport/s. Note that Detector Length applies only to 3D visualization. Have Fun!
